“My family of four had a wonderful experience renting our skis. The staff was so sweet and helpful with getting us fitted and giving us great advice on managing our skis. The selection was much better than most stores I’ve rented from in the past. We also rented sleds too! They have everything here, it’s a one stop shop for us! We will definitely return here for next winters trip to Breck. Pioneer Sports is now our go-to for ski rentals!”

“This was one of the best experiences in my and my wife’s life. Christine (hope that’s spelled right😅) was the BEST. She’s the life of the store, knows the area, super encouraging, and just a beautiful soul altogether. She made sure we got e-bikes that we were comfortable in, gave us time to practice and get the hang of them, and walked us out and showed us the best trails for the most epic views of the lake. “This is the best place to rent from. Myself and 3 other buddy’s got skis and snowboards from Pioneer. The staff is super knowledgeable and gave us great gear that worked well at 3 different resorts. If you’re going to Frisco for it’s central location to many resorts this place is a no brainer. If you rent from Pioneer you can visit different resorts vs renting at the resort and turning your gear back in at the end of each day and restarting at a new place with different gear. Pioneer is hands down the best rental shop we visited of the many we checked out.”

“Had the best experience here today. Originally went to Christy sports near 1pm to rent equipment and were met with the most disgruntled employee, who insisted we come back at 2pm otherwise he would charge us for an additional day…(the other employees in the store tried to assist but were stopped). At Pioneer there was absolutely no problem, the team quickly fitted us with skis and boots and at a lot less costs…highly recommend this stop on the way to Breck…(or vail for that matter)…just off I70.”

“Two summers ago I had my bike serviced at Pioneer Sports and remembered that they also rented skies in the winter… so I called. Their prices were reasonable. The service was super even came with a smile. The Nordica boots I rented were rear entry.. the most comfortable boots I have ever tried. The skies were great.. I was in and out quickly… I will definitely do business with them again!”

“Great service, gear selection and prices. We’ve used them summer and winter for our rentals. Summer we got bikes with attachments to pull the kids and the kids could actually pedal along, perfect for riding around the lake and stopping at the various marinas and beach areas. In winter we got ski equipment for the kids and they helped us size them perfectly, best prices in town for kids ski rentals for individual days. Will definitely be our go to place for equipment rentals!”
